Description
Skeletal knee with ligaments & tendons made from wax and horse-hair, showing joint capsule and subpatellar bursa. Mounted on a wooden board with a brass fixture. The inscription on the tibia - 'Tramond N. Rouppert Sr [successor] Paris' - refers to the Tramond company being taken over by N. Rouppert, Tramond's son-in-law, at the beginning of the twentieth century.
