Description
Surgical kit in wooden case consisting of 61 instruments, 1 tourniquet, 1 spool of wire, thread, 2 packets of needles and a card listing contents of the case. The case has brass fittings, purple velvet lining and a lift-out compartment. It is covered in a brown canvas bag.

British army-issue (Army Medical Department), the kit is fitted out for most surgical procedures.
