Description
Potted specimen of a juvenile rufous bettong (Aepyprymnus rufescens). The specimen is preserved in fluid and contained in a rectangular, glass battery jar. The rufous bettong is a rabbit-sized marsupial found in north eastern Australia. It is the largest representative of the Potoroidae, a family of small, jumping marsupials.
