Description
Wax model of a hemi head showing exposed area of the skull and dissection. The head is realistically depicted with hair and a shaved region around the dissection. Mounted on a black wooden board. 1959 Anatomy Museum catalogue entry: 'A model showing the mastoid air cells and the horizontal and descending parts of the facial nerve. The sigmoid sinus, dura mater, the middle cranial fossa and the lateral semicircular canal (opened) are displayed.'
