Description
Plaster model of brain section, larger than life size, mounted on a black wooden board. The model was produced by Jules Talriche, a Parisian anatomical model maker active in the second half of the 19th century. An original cardboard label describes the model (in French) as, 'Horizontal section of the brain taken between the corpus callosum and striata, showing Munro's hole, finger cavity, Morand's ergot, optic layer, etc.'
