Description
Plaster model of brain section, larger than life size, mounted on a black wooden board. The model was produced by Jules Talriche, a Parisian anatomical model maker active in the second half of the 19th century. An original cardboard label describes the model (in French) as, 'Corpus callosum by its lower part showing the vault of the ventrals [absent] the bead, the lyre, the vulva etc.'
