Description
Left side of sagittally bisected skull, no mandible, of a hyrax (Order Hyracoidea). Originally mounted on a comparative osteology display board showing the formation of the post-orbital bar. The skulls have been painted to show equivalent bones of the skull in different species. This display compared the skulls of a dog, horse and a hyrax.
