Dial face thermometer, in watch-style case, calibrated from twenty five to one hundred and ten degrees Fahrenheit. Probable serial number 3378.

History of Object

Included in contents of Dr. James Jamieson's medical bag (accession number MHM00074), who practised in Warrnambool and Melbourne, later lecturing in Obstetrics at Melbourne University. Jamieson became President of the Medical Society of Victoria in 1886. He died in 1916.
