Plaster model of an oversized frog brain manufactured by Deyrolle of Paris. The species is Rana esculenta, the edible frog. Part of a comparative set of eight models, comprising brains of a frog, ammocoete (lamprey larva), alligator, shark, rabbit, dog, trout, and pigeon.
