Corrosion cast of liver
P. J. Phillips
Corrosion cast of internal vascular networks of the hepatic artery viewed from above, made at the University of Melbourne in 1961, by Dr. P. J. Phillips. The cystic artery has been painted green. Corrosion casts are made by injecting a liquid resin into the internal cavities of an organ and then destroying the tissue after the resin has set.
