Bryant and May matchbox, wooden cover with cardboard drawers. Contains five phials of hypodermic tablets.

History of Object

Included in contents of Dr. James Jamieson's medical bag (accession number MHM00074), who practised in Warrnambool and Melbourne, later lecturing in Obstetrics at Melbourne University. Jamieson became President of the Medical Society of Victoria in 1886. He died in 1916.
