Mulberry calculus embedded in a clear resin block. A calculus is a concretion of material, usually mineral salts, that forms in an organ or duct of the body. A mulberry calculus is a urinary tract stone composed of calcium oxalate, so-called because of its supposed resemblance to a mulberry.
