Description
Potted specimen of a ornamental snake (Denisonia maculata). The specimen is preserved in fluid and contained in a cylindrical glass jar. The ornamental snake is a small, venemous snake found in a restricted range in south eastern Queensland. This specimen would have been collected as part of medical studies into snake venom and its treatment.
