Box containing an almost unused student-style all-metal alloy balance. A hand written note contains information on the calebration of balance, probably by R. Day.
Claudius Ash, Sons and Co in 1924 merged with De Trey & Company to form the Amalgamated Dental Company, 'Ash' was used by The Amalgamated Dental Company as a subsudiary brand name.
