Description
Monaural stethoscope comprising a flat round synthetic chest piece and a stem which has a threaded coloured black end that screws into the base. The rest of the stem is varnished and has a flared earpiece at the opposing end.

This example is a Priory stethoscope, one of many variations made on René Laënnec's original design of the monaural stethoscope.
