This meeting was attended by George Santoro's father, Dr. S. Santoro, a medical practitioner and member of the association. He received this 144 page bound book titled 'The Book of Melbourne Australia 1935' as a gift at the meeting. George Santoro was born the same year, and graduated from Melbourne University Medical School in 1962, 27 years later. George became the president of the Victorian branch of the AMA and retired in 1983. He donated this book, as well as his retiring president's address to the Medical History Museum in 2012. One of George Santoro's business cards is paperclipped on the inside of the book.
