Description
Dr Charles Travers Mackin(1817-1884) arrived in Melbourne 1852, Goldfields-Forrest Creek near Bendigo, Ballarat for 12 months, executing many watercoulours as well as panning for gold. Settled and practiced in Geelong.
Mackin was the grandson of Dr William Turton (1762-1835).
