Hard cover (silver) bound volume of 156 pages which give an illustrated history of dentistry in Japan through a series of coloured illustrations each with captions in Japanese characters. The book is divided into sections: blackening of teeth, tooth brushes, tooth picks, extractions and wooden dentures. A brief history and translation of the captions is included with these loose illustrations.
