Description
Upper and lower gypsum casts (dental yellowstone) joined by gypsum (Plaster of Paris) slab with interlocking extensions. Beeswax 'bite' to locate casts. Produced by H. F. Atkinson. Beeswax is a difficult material to work and use in the dental situation. It required a controlled water bath for softening and was difficult to mould even in the bath and hardened rapidly.
