Hot air syringe spout

Date
Early 1930s
Description
A metal spout for a hot air syringe to fit a rubber bulb. Spout is attached to metal bulb neck by a tapered joint with a bayonet catch. Spout has a 2 cm tube soldered over the end for heat retention as a 'sink'. When heated in a spirit lamp, sink can be covered by a sliding metal sleeve that would protect the patient and prevent burns. A very well designed and made appliance.
