Description
In a plastic case with green hinged lid and sliding clasp. On the lid, "Burton" and the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (TRDHM) label "Equip. No 2113/12" (stuck on). Trade name used is the Burton 'Vitalometer'. The tester is in three parts, permanently attached by electric leads: (1) Transformer with mains contacts, (2) Control, (3) Applicator (to patient). Control (2) has sliding knob with the following calibrations: Vital Zone, Recheck Zone, Posterior Average, Anterior Average, Non Vital. Applicator (3) is grey plastic with single contacts for tooth and clear section, possibly for indicator light.
