Description
Cystoscope set in wooden case with two metal locking clasps and one long hinge. Inside are wooden compartments to secure all components. Inside lid contains plastic coated electrical cable and a metal plate stamped with "The Ravich Improved Cystoscope. Modification of the Brown-Buerger", "American Cystoscope Makers, Inc" including instructions diagram for maintenance. Inside base contains cystoscope and urethroscope as well as metal accessories. Also a closed section containing small metal parts and rubber washers, covered by sliding metal lid with stamped inscription "American Cystoscope Makers, Inc. Frederick C. Wappler President, New York, N. Y., Designers and sole producers of Wappler and A.C.M.I. instruments since 1900." Small round metal container and lid stamped with "A.C.M.I. Grease" and contents partially used. Paper packet containing cystoscopic tubes. Used by urologists for viewing the bladder and urethra without surgery.
