Description
Cylindrical wooden monaural stethoscope for auscultation. In three parts: two turned wood pieces with beads at joins and a hollow core, one piece fitting tightly into the other with waxed rope thread, and a brass tube fitted to wood at one end. Ends of wooden parts are slightly concave. The design is the second version of the original stethoscope by Rene Laennec in 1826. There are no inscriptions.
