Description
Corrosion cast of internal vascular networks of the kidney in red resin. This specimen was made at the University of Melbourne in 1961, by Dr. P. J. Phillips. Corrosion casts are made by injecting a liquid resin into the internal cavities of an organ and then destroying the tissue after the resin has set.
