Description
Partial, partially articulated skeleton of a koala (Phascolarctos cinereus). Articulated elements comprise lumbar vertebrae, pelvic bones and right epipubic bone; five vertebrae with five ribs; and femur, tibia, and two tarsal bones. Disarticulated elements comprise a pair of scapulae, two vertebra, thirteen ribs, one ulna, one tibia, one and phalanx. Articulated elements are held together with extensive dried tissues. Collected in the field.
