Description
This academic gown and bonnet formerly belonged to Professor Alan Grant, a University of Melbourne Dental graduate who qualified BDS (Melb) and DDSc and achieved international recognition for his research. Professor Grant made valuable contributions in the field of dental materials, particularly acrylic resins. He was a senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne and then invited to take up the Chair in Dental Prosthetics at the University of Manchester.
