Large, cast bronze plaque with polished, raised lettering and border, on wooden backing board with edge stained brown. The plaque reads " The Kenneth Adamson Department for Orthodontia / This department was opened by Mr L.W. Weickhardt Chancellor of the University of Melbourne and named in honour of Sir Kenneth Adamson for his outstanding services to the hospital and University. 17th December 1975. ELJ Tucker President".
