Swaging hammer

Description
Head of soft iron slowing some enlargement of the sticking surface, the other edge flattened for possible cutting. Wooden handle fixed with wedge.

This was originally a blacksmith's light swaging hammer which was ideally suited for striking dies held in the hand before placing on the block.
