Description
Graphic posters produced by the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Women's Council Aboriginal Corporation. Three of the posters map out stages of child development and contain graphics and texts in green and black on a white background. Drawing on their rich cultural knowledge, the process of making the poster allowed senior Indigenous women and traditional healers to share their cultural practices for growing up strong, healthy children. Two of these posters present Pitjantjatjara phrases with English translations ('Iti Nguru Pulkaringkunytja'), and one poster contains Ngaanyatjarra phrases with translations ('Pilyirrnguru Purlkarringkunytja').

The 'Words for Feelings' map is a graphic poster produced to help people find the right words to express emotional states. They were created with the belief that if people can find the words to express their feelings, then they are better equipped to ask for the help they need. Five of these posters present Pitjantjatjara phrases with English translations ('Uti Kulintjaku'), and one poster contains Ngaanyatjarra phrases with translations ('Yuti Kulintjaku'). These are printed in yellow and black on a white background.
