Description
This high frequency generator is an apparatus for transforming an electric current so that it becomes an alternating or oscillating current, changing its direction of flow through a conductor with great speed. 'Violet Ray' refers to the colouration of the vacuum tubes or applicators when the high frequency current is passed into them. It was claimed that the application of the violet ray increased the affinity for oxygen in the blood and body cells. Medical practitioners, dentists and masseurs once used it to re-establish normal function to 'exhausted' muscles and nerves, for example, in the case of sprains, rheumatism, lumbago, sciatica and headaches, amongst other conditions. This generator comes with five attachments.
