Description
Parallel Plate ionisation chamber. Five circular disks on a large circular metal plate. When you put radiation in a beam it changes the beam's charter to gauge its true dose – x-ray beams are easy to measure – but electrons were not as easy to measure in the early days and not as much was known about how it was absorbed. This connects to an extrapolation chamber.
