Description
250 KV X-ray tube from an X.T.I. machine. This machine had a life of 1500 hours. When you have a diagnostic X-ray you can operate at 150KV but to treat with X-rays you need a higher energy to penetrate into the cancer you are treating. These X-ray tubes were superseded by linear accelerators.
