Date
1930s-1940s
Description
Cone from an obsolete deep therapy applicator. Note the wooden end. Later designs bring the lead diaphragm closer to the skin to decrease penumbra, and have a Perspex end to protect the skin from radiation. The cone would absorb the softest radiation to protect the skin.
