Description
Dual face comprehensive slide ruler model 432. Slide rulers were used to calculate radiation dose measurements prior to computers. The patient’s prescription was converted into figures using the slide ruler to program X-ray therapy machines. Slide rulers were used to calculate difficult logarithms, Depho factors and geometric factors to measure for the output for the machine.
