The Pocket computer - PC - 1500 is a significant piece that shows the important role computers played in treating patients. This computer was used to program X-ray machines and linear accelerators. At $800 it was very expensive at the time. It was an accurate and efficient way to calculate dosage measurements compared to a ruler which was used prior to the computer.
