Description
Sigmoidoscope in a fitted wooden case which includes a graduated metal tube to 30cm, with electric adaption, obturator, connecting cables for batteries or transformer, eight spare lamps wrapped in gauze. The box has a hinged lid and latches at the front to secure the lid. Written on outside in white on green dynamo tape: "Theatres RWH".



Inside case is an intr-hospital memo to all staff from Sr Moore, Theatres 1 & 2 , Oct 27 1963, "Dry sigmoidoscope well (underlined) including inside (underlined). Use swabs on the alligator forceps. Do not autoclave or boil light piece."
