Description
Brown wooden box containing an almost complete blood culture set: 10ml plastic syringe (in plastic container), empty plastic syringe container, a box of Steristar needles, spirit lamp, one bottle of Tincture of Iodine (half full), one bottle of absolute alcohol (empty), bottle of Benzolkonium 1-1600 in SUM (half full), and a typewritten card listing the contents of the box and blood culture requirements apart from the contents of the box. A box of Redhead matches has been removed for safety and the tourniquet is missing. The box has two brass latches at the front to secure it.

Believed to have been in use during the 1960s.
