Nursing badge awarded to Valda Morrison by the Melbourne School of Nursing, 1956.

The badge is blue enamel on sterling silver, made by Stokes. Engraved on the back "1956 / V.L. MORRISON". The shape of the badge is a variant of the Maltese Cross. It has a lantern in the centre encircled by a ring with the motto "VICINIS SICUT SIBI". A tasselled cord wraps around the lower segment. The pin and safety chain are intact.
