Midwifery badge awarded to Valda Morrison by the Royal Women's Hospital School of Nursing, 1957.

The badge is multi-coloured (mostly blue) enamel on sterling silver, made by Stokes. Engraved on the back "V.L. MORRISON / 1957". The badge is in the shape of a crest with the Melbourne City Council crest in the centre, the word "MELBOURNE" at the top and "THE ROYAL WOMEN'S HOSPITAL" in a banner below the crest. The pin and safety chain (6.0cm) are intact.
