Description
MBE, Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, medallion with red ribbon in original black leatherette presentation box. Box has a hinged lid and clasp at front to secure it, "MBE" is embossed in gold on the lid. The medal is sitting on a cream velvet backing. On back of medal "GRI" (Georgius Rex Imperator). Appears the same as one shown on Wikipaedia from 1945. Nothing to indicate who it was awarded to.
