Description
Multiload CU250 Intrauterine Contraceptive Device in manufacturer's sterilisable packaging. Expiry date is 11/05/1993. Multiload is an IUD, an intra uterine device used for contraception, it has a small plastic rod or stem, with two small flexible side-arms. The plastic is a mixture of high density polyethylene, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer and barium sulphate. A copper wire is wound around the stem. A nylon thread with two ends is attached to the copper coil. It can remain in place for a number of years.
