Certificate. Printed Form. Nurses Certificate issued to Beatrice May Thurlby by the Victorian Trained Nurses Association. The certificate reads: "Victorian Trained Nurses Association / Certificate for Special Nursing / We hereby certify that / Beatrice May Thurlby of Avonsleigh, Castlemaine / was on Nov. 26. 1902 duly registered as Midwifery Nurse / and Member of the Victorian Trained Nurses’ Association." It is signed by the President [illegible], Member of Council Amy L Burleigh, and the Honorary Secretary Hannah Elizabeth Glover. The certificate has a red printed text, a red decorative border printed on cream paper. Names and signatures are in black ink. Printed by Sands & McDougall Limited, Printers.
