 Description
Gold badge with the letters ‘W’ and ‘H’ on either side, red banners with "WOMEN’S / HOSPITAL / MELBOURNE" in gold text and a white shield with blue cross. The reverse of the badge is engraved: "M FINTON / STOKES / 9 CT". The pin and safety chain mount are broken, suggesting it has been used. The Women's Hospital General Nursing course ended circa 1952.
