Description
White plastic Lippe's loop intra-uterine contraceptive device, with microfilament tail and introducer. "ORTHO" moulded on introducer handle. The first Lippes Loop intrauterine device (IUD) was introduced in 1962. It was a plastic double 'S' loop, a trapezoid shaped IUD that fitted closely around the contours of the uterine cavity.
