Description
Blue and white striped A-line dress with shirt collar, mid blue coloured bias on edge of collar and on sleeves, zip closure at front to hips, small square of velcro hook and loop tape above zip, two pockets, one either side of dress front. This dress is a later example of uniform dress A1994_17_023. Manufacturer's label on inner back panel of dress has faded. Other sewn on labels: "101" in blue thread and "MSEN" and "X0019" in black ink. Made by Florgale Uniforms Pty Ltd, Australia.

* Notes by Margaret Mabbitt: "Worn by both student and registered nursing aides. I cannot remember when the uniforms changed probably, late 1970s or early 1980s, commenced mid 1950s".
