Framed document outlining purpose of the Melbourne Lying-In Hospital including admissions, provision of care, role of dispensary, the members of the Ladies Visiting Committee and names of the Honorary Physicians; Maund and Tracy. There is a paper label of the back of the frame with the following written by hand in black ink: "Women's Hospital / First Committee year 1856 / Presented by Mrs D'Ebro 1929 (Blanche Tracy D'Ebro) / Requests that this shall never be removed from / The Board Room / BD'E". Blanche Tracy D'Ebro (1859-1943) was the daughter of Dr Tracy.

Blanche Mary D’Ebro (née Tracy) (1859-1943) served as Honorary Secretary and Committee Member of the Women’s Hospital, 1902-1910, and the Committee’s representative on the hospital’s Advisory Board for a further two years. Her husband, Charles D’Ebro, served as a Trustee of the hospital site from 1903 until his death in 1920.
