Description
Early nursing veil worn by E M MacEwan (Eleanor), a midwifery trainee at the Royal Women's Hospital 1954-55. This veil is made of slightly heavier cotton which was typical of the earlier veils; the later ones were made of a light-weight cotton voile or other light weight cotton.
