Description
Instrument set in wooden case.

This is one of several items formerly owned by the donor's late husband, Dr Berhard Treister (1937 - 2006). Dr Treister's early training was in paediatric cardiology which evolved into great expertise in the area of adult congenital heart disease. He was appointed Director of Cardiology at Austin Hospital in 1973, and continued his association with the hospital as a sessional cardiologist and a senior associate in Medicine at the University of Melbourne, until his death.
