Description
Specimens of Gallae Sinenses. (Family: Anacardiaceae (not on the label), Genus and Species: Rhus semialata, Common name: Chinese sumac) in a glass jar with black acrylic lid. A paper label is pasted on the jar listing the contents, origin (China, Japan) and the producer (E. Merck). Commonly used to treat coughs and rheumatism as well as being employed in the treatment of spontaneous sweating and night sweating.
