Silver commemorative plate presented to Professor Harold Attwood for the third John Perry Memorial Oration, October 1988.

Harold Attwood MB ChB (St Andrews), MD (St Andrews), MD (Melb.) who was a distinguished pathologist, Professor of Pathology at the University of Melbourne and medical historian. During his life he undertook research in the area of amniotic fluid embolism as a cause of maternal death. In 1961 he became assistant director of pathology at the Royal Women's Hospital, Melbourne and a founding member of the Royal College of Pathologists (UK).
